Finally a simple, precise and economical way to locate and
follow a variety of pipes and cables.
The PCL can accurately trace residential and commercial gas
lines, water and sewer pipes and electrical cabling within
access or service depths. With access to one end of a line, it's
fast and easy to trace for hundreds of feet. The Clip-on method
"energizes" the line with a discreet frequency that
optimizes performance and provides greater isolation in areas of
multiple lines.
Conductive metal acts as a "radiant antenna" -
emitting a frequency from the pipe or cable that is tuned to the
Receiver. Even some plastic and concrete pipes can be located by
using the trace wire or inserting a plumber's snake.
The Inductive method allows tracing even when the line is
completely inaccessible and you can't clip onto the pipe or
cable. When the PCL case - with it's built-in antenna - is
placed over or near the area of a pipe or cable, the antenna
induces an electronic signal and can be audibly traced with the
Receiver. The PCL can pay for itself in just a single use.
