The standard equipment loop is ideal for all-around searching. A person may want to use a smaller loop for extreme trash (lots of close-together targets). Larger loops of 15", are recommended for larger targets (jars of coins) at extreme depths. Remember, with a 15" loop, sensitivity to coin-sized targets decreases.
